Metricreplaces "Organic ranking position (AI-era)"

Citation Rate

Citation Rate is the percentage of eligible question-engine observations where an AI engine cites your brand. Findabl checks each category question across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini and divides cited observations by all eligible observations. It is the primary input (70%) to the GEO Score. Citation Rate is calculated weekly, displayed as a trendline, and gains a confidence interval after 4+ scans so noise can be separated from signal. Higher Citation Rate means AI engines mention your brand more often when buyers ask category-level questions, the discipline equivalent of organic ranking position in AI search.
